The Swiss Switch
Last week we learned through some customer complaints that the orders they made on Amazon weren't arriving as promised. Prime was delivering as usual but the product wasn't the same.
This was the first time I heard about the term Amazon highjacking. It was more common than I thought if it was happening to me.
Thing was, I went through Brand Registry to upload our trademarks, which Amazon assured us was all the precautions I was supposed to take. Somehow this seller found out that they could copy our listing and use Fulfilled by Merchant to send their miracle berries instead of ours.
So I opened up a case and expected Amazon would shut it down...but no, Amazon wouldn't budge without proof. Oh my, was I going to have to pay my competitor just to order their counterfeit merchandise so Amazon can be aware of what's happening on their own platform?
Filing that under more things that didn't make sense, I grit my teeth, placed the order and waited for delivery.
2weeks passed and still no package. I understood when the tracking showed me where it was coming from. Switzerland. Immediately I knew who was responsible. The miracle berry world is still in its infancy and the players all know each other.
But knowing and respecting are two different things and next week I'll tell you how we teamed up with some friends Down Under to put a stop to this madness once and for all.
Now, from antiethical to antioxidants, it's time to jump into our latest taste test...
Last week I was sharing how I love to blend frozen raspberries in my morning smoothies, especially during summer.
That got me thinking, what about blueberries? Would I get the same explosion of flavor from combining them with the power of the miracle berry?
I added them to my grocery list and popped them in the freezer for four mins when I got home. After doing some research, I learned they can freeze super quickly.
With 30 seconds to spare, I threw Nature's Wild Berry in my mouth and counted down while I chewed. 3...2...1... In went the first blueberry and WHAM! So delicious, it was a flavor bomb that perfectly cooled me down. I took a handful at a time, wow, ice cream I thought. Just as delicious without adding extra calories, carbs or sugars. Incredible.
Next week I get a little exotic with my flavor experiments so if you like trying new things with a little flair, don't miss it!
